After getting the necessary images, your dentist will use a local anesthetic to numb the area surrounding the tooth, ensuring that you don’t feel any pain or discomfort during the procedure.
Once the anesthetic has been given, your dentist will ensure that the area stays dry by placing a rubber piece around the tooth. A hole is then drilled into the tooth where the pulp, bacteria and debris will be removed with a series of files. Once the debris is removed, your dentist will then seal the tooth until your next appointment.
